Glasstech products are one branch of the Duotech range of ePTFE laminated products, and typically employ impregnated woven glass fabrics as the support for ePTFE membranes. In these systems, the filtration is performed by the membrane which is mechanically supported by a woven fiberglass substrate.

Most applications either use a lightweight system for reverse air cleaning mechanisms or a heavyweight quality to stand up to the additional rigors of pulse jet cleaning.

A key benefit of Glasstech is reduced particulate emissions, but the ability of the ePTFE membrane to collect dust on its surface along with its non-stick characteristics facilitates improved cleaning and inhibits penetration of fine particles into the structure of the media. This frequently yields reduced filter operating costs through lower operating pressure drop, reduced power consumption at the ID fan and a reduction in compressed air consumption via optimized cleaning regimes.

Both glass and PTFE display excellent chemical and thermal resistance properties and their combination permits the application of our Glasstech products in many of the most demanding filtration environments
