Acrylic
Homopolymer Acrylic is a medium temperature fiber, up to 120°C continuous, and has good chemical resistance as its structure imparts resistance to hydrolysis.
CIPP
Cure-In-Place-Pipe is a cost-effective, less invasive alternative to replacing failing underground infrastructure.
Meta Aramid
Meta Aramid is a high temperature fiber, suitable up to 200°C in dry conditions; care is needed when used in moist environments at high temperatures as it is prone to hydrolysis which will chemically degrade the fibers turning them to powder resulting in failure of the filter medium.
Polyester
Polyester is the most versatile, most cost-effective and most widely used filter media for dust collection. It is strong, abrasion resistant can work up to 150°C and has good resistance to common acids, solvents and oxidizing agents.
Polyimide
Polyimide, also known as P84®, is a high temperature fiber which under dry conditions can be operated up to 230°C.
Polypropylene
Polypropylene is the lowest rated common fiber as far as temperature is concerned, but it exhibits one of the best chemical resistances, properties which match well with many specialist industries.
PPS
PPS is a high temperature fiber, up to 180°C, with excellent chemical resistance except for oxidizing agents such as NO2 and Oxygen itself.
PTFE
PTFE is the 'ultimate' regular fiber as it has outstanding chemical and thermal resistance, with the right chemistry, it will operate up to 250°C.
